David Bush
Founder & President
David Bush
David has served in church and para-church ministries for most of his vocational life. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.A. in Communications specializing in Public Relations. David served in the music ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) and in hospital management with ServiceMaster before moving from Southern California to Iowa in 1988. He spent the next 11 years as the Sales and Marketing Director and General Manager of Anderson Erickson Dairy’s ice cream division.
In 1999 David returned to ministry work and has since served as a Pastor of Evangelism, Worship Pastor, and Associate Pastor at First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa, Third Reformed Church in Pella, Iowa, and The Mission Church in Urbandale, Iowa. Upon leaving the business world for ministry work David founded Point of Light Ministries, which has enabled him to develop a national music ministry as well as the Fit For The King body stewardship ministry.
David has been married to Beth for 33 years and they have four adult sons and two daughters-in-law. They have resided on the eastside of Des Moines for the past 27 years.
Pastor Michael Mudlaff

Pastor Michael Mudlaff
Michael Mudlaff has been Pastor and Head of Staff at Westkirk Presbyterian Church in Urbandale, Iowa, since March of 2004. He received his B.A. (International Relations, Religion, Politics) at Cornell College, Mount Vernon, Iowa, in 1988. From there, he went on to receive his M.A. (International Affairs) at Drew University, Madison, New Jersey in 1991, and his M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois, in1997.
In addition to his work at Westkirk, Michael was on the founding committee and is a past director of the Urbandale Food Pantry Board. He previously served on the pastoral staff at First Federated Church, Des Moines, Iowa, from 1997 to 2003. Michael can be heard on The Truth 99.3 FM, weekdays at noon during the teaching/talk program featuring his preaching, called True Blue. He is married to Sasha and they have four sons.
Beth Bush

Beth Bush
Beth, an Iowa native, graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Accounting. She has worked as a CPA in California and Iowa, and currently works at Tarbell and Associates PLC in addition to managing a family farm. Beth homeschooled her four boys through 8th grade before enrolling them in Grand View Christian School. She currently serves on the GVCS Foundation Board.
Beth has been married to David for 33 years, and has embraced her role as wife and mother while also serving at church as a youth leader and women’s Bible study and Awana teacher.
Cole Lindholm

Cole Lindholm
Cole is the Director of Human Resources and Community Outreach Operations for HOPE Ministries in Des Moines, Iowa, where he has served for 18 years. In addition, Cole also directs Hope Ministries’ social enterprise efforts within its two ENCORE Thrift Stores, along with oversight of food services and clothing distributions to those in need.
Cole enjoys and has embraced a healthy lifestyle that includes activities such as road biking, running, disc golf and hunting, and fishing. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. He and his wife Stacy and have two sons and reside in Urbandale where they are involved in leadership and ministry at The Mission Church.
Julie Summa

Julie Summa
Julie received a BSA degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She has worked in the areas of product/production management with Meredith Corporation and was Director of Donor Development at America’s Family Coaches and Vice President of Advancement at The Family Leader. She has provided marketing and communications consulting, event coordination, and non-profit project management. She considers her years as a full-time stay-at-home mom to be her most important job. Julie currently works as Director of Marketing and Communications at Syverson Strege in West Des Moines.
Julie enjoys being involved with small group Bible studies, helping with her church’s communications, serving on the Iowa Prayer Breakfast Committee, playing racquetball, hosting family gatherings, and walking the trails around Polk City.
She has served on the Johnston Community School Board and Johnston Community School Foundation.
Julie has had the privilege of being married to Dean for 38 years and they have been blessed with two sons, Evan (29) and Miles (27).
Erik Moen

Erik Moen
Erik is a 15-year veteran in the private and business banking community in Central Iowa. He currently serves in the Loan Production office of Security National Bank of Omaha in the downtown Des Moines office. Erik is an avid runner, triathlete, and photographer. He also serves on the Board of Directors for both the Central Iowa Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage.
Erik is a longtime member of First Federated Church and The Mission Church and resides in Urbandale, Iowa with his wife Jessica and three daughters.
Andrew Sitz

Andrew Sitz
Andrew earned a BBA from the University of South Dakota and is currently a Business Intelligence Developer at Hy-Vee. As a multilingual analytics professional with a strong business background in retail, sales/marketing, and logistics, Andrew has served in marketing and logistics roles at Graebel Companies and Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation. His daily work is focused on transforming organizational decision-making through data.
Andrew is a fitness enthusiast who also spent a year in Brazil as part of an exchange program. In addition, he participated on the Winterset Area Skate Park Committee which raised $100,000.00 in public and private grant funds. Andrew lives in Des Moines with his wife Carrie and their two children They are members of The Mission Church.

Ashley Miguez
Ashley is an Employee Benefits Consultant with Benefit Source Inc/Onebody3 where he works with employers and organizations to build systems that support and protect people while leveraging their human potential. At Onebody3 he works with organizations to enhance cultures through purposeful environments; equipping individual contributors with purpose, well-being, and renewed spirits.
Prior to joining BSI/OB3, Ashley lived in Honduras, Central America helping to oversee operations at a children’s home and aiding in support and development of the surrounding community. He has also worked as an educator, business owner, and staff pastor over the years.
Ashley lives in Ankeny, Iowa and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Shelia and their four children.
Aaron Bush

Aaron Bush
Aaron Bush is a 2018 graduate of The Master’s University in Southern California. He graduated with a B.S. Degree in Business Finance and was awarded the Business Finance “Student of the Year” award. Upon graduation, Aaron joined JRW Investments, a real estate investment company with over one billion dollars of investments under management. He currently works in their office in Ankeny, Iowa.
In addition to his work, Aaron is active in his church and enjoys recording music and a sports podcast as well as growing in his knowledge of money management and investing.
Gregg Stearns

Gregg Stearns
Gregg is the Human Resources Manager at ServiceMaster Green in Urbandale, Iowa, where he has worked since 2006. Prior to that, he and his wife Mindi were cross-cultural church planters in Viña del Mar, Chile with World Team. Gregg served with World Team for 15 years after graduating from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in International Ministries. He has also pursued graduate level studies at Fuller Seminary and Moody Graduate School. Gregg has written video scripts and promotional videos for the National Pork Board through a local business.
Gregg grew up at First Federated Church and has served there and at The Mission Church in various ministries. He currently teaches an Adult Bible Fellowship, serves in the children’s ministry, and is the Chairman of the elder board. Gregg has benefited from Fit for the King and Inspire conferences, and through his own “body stewardship journey,” he has lost over 100 pounds while maintaining good health. Gregg and Mindi have two sons and live in Windsor Heights.

Tara Venturini-Bush, PA-C
Tara is a PA-C who has worked in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals. In 2018, she and her husband, Dr. Austin Bush, relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where she works as a Physician Assistant for the Atrium Health System.
